This is the most basic meditation routine that is used by the majority of people practicing Sahaja Yoga.

State of meditation can only be achieved when the Kundalini energy pierces through our Agnya chakra (6th energy center in our head) and open a passage for itself to flow. This process cannot be forced by us but we can do certain things to assist it. Here is what you will find helpful during this meditation:

  • Be completely relaxed in your chair but have your back straight
  • Do not rush through the sequence, let yourself learn the techniques slowly and consistently
  • Do not fight your thoughts - just witness them and let them go. The attitude that helps is the feeling inside that "I am not this thought"
  • Have a sincerely desire to grow and just feel what is happening inside
